If you think a cesarean is "just another way to have a baby", think again. She's not unique -- women aren't "allowed" to talk about these birth experiences so we don't hear about it -- they are labeled ungrateful and whiners and mentally ill so they suck it up and pretend its all ok. At least she was honest about what it was like to be gutted. Everyone is thrilled with a healthy baby but that doesn't change what happened to her or the baby. If you have a cesarean, this could be you, even if you had a "wonderful" experience the last time. This is NOT birth, this is major surgery with inadequate anesthesia. It isn't beautiful, it is a horror movie. Think about Anna Nicole and her "womb busting" 6# baby when your OB says you have to have surgery or you and your baby will die. *Nobody* deserves to be tortured like that and then have it minimized.

Sorry she had a bad experience. I had a c-section and mine was fine. The spinal block scared me more than anything else cause I was totally paralyzed! My son is 15 months old now and my stomach still is numb where they cut me and it still is a bit tender in spots. I don't understand why Anna Nicole was strapped down. Her doc and anastecieologist here not very good. There were supposed to check to see if she was completely paralyzed before cutting, at least my doc did. Reactions are diffrent.

i dont know if i should be sad for anna or not, she was deffinatly exploited but in a way she knew what she was getting into, lets just say drugs are bad okay?

Those hospital birth are so much safer than the crazy calm birth center and homebirth videos that I've seen here. There is no way that I would want to be treated with respect and kindness during my labor. Pfft, give me one of those hospital births any day over a drama free birth.

I had a caeasarean 4 weeks ago and it was nothing like her experience thank god. Was actually ok, and I was up and walking about 2 days later.

6 pounds and she needed a c section, thats rediculous I had a 8 pound baby and naturally there's somethin up with that, lol in no disrespect I had a 9 cm laceration after that but jesus all the big coks she's had in her I'm sure she could handle more than a 6 pond baby. That girl had issues though don't get me wrong I admire her

I have to laugh when everyone calls the baby "beautiful"... she's bloody and slimy and nasty! They get a little cuter a few hours later.
And poor Anna...the last two yrs of her life were spent so stoned no one even noticed anymore that she talked like a drunk.

I had two c-sections... I would say this is not how it usually happens... Ive never talked to anyone that had it like this. It was way less pain then giving birth (i did that twice as well)And what do you mean not allowed to talk about it??? who would not allow a woman to talk about her birth.. via vajayjay or c-section????
