Hmm... you seem to think this is a scene from reality, like a documentary or something. Just so you can know: this is a thing called a "fiction". It is performed by people called "actors". They are called "actors" because they are skilled at "acting" like completely different people, including those who dance very differently from themselves.
Acting is a profession, and very well-paid and highly-visible actors, like Mr Phoenix here, are often very good at it.

If you're aware that Joaquin Phoenix is an actor, that he's obviously not playing himself but a role, and is undoubtedly dancing as his character would dance, rather than how he himself would dance, you are obviously not the person who wrote the comment I replied to.
