I remember Cat Stevens from my teenage years. He was a great talent and I still love his music. I find it sad that he sang of peace and love, which we are told are also the tenets of his chosen religion (against all the evidence) yet he does not speak out and condemn acts of terrorism made in the name of his religion. What happened to the Peace Train?

not to disagree with you (its so true, both literally and as you meant it), but yes, he is a poet. a song is just a poem with music. but it's funny that no-one (myself included) would actually read the lyrics alone, cos ppl just don't do that anymore. and so the word "poet" like you said it has a different meaning. its just odd
