The first Batman was good because they had Tim Burton on a leash. The second one they gave Tim Burton too much leighway. Wasn't even a Batman movie. Flipper babies? Nines lives? Running for mayor?! WTH?

Its not overly dark like the first or even the new ones. Think of it as... as a... hmmm... as a live version of the animated series. The first iteration of the animated series. It has psychological elements in it but is lighthearted with the villainy and action.

I think this is a great Batman film. I liked all of them except for Barman & Robin that was just terrible. This one is one of the better Batman movies.
