Fine, pay $1.1mill more for a car with performance comparable to a $100,000 car. It does look a lot better, but let's not kid ourselves, it is not worth that much. Vettes are absolutely not for hicks, by the way, that is just stupid to say.

Actually I know a decent number of Ferrari, Lamborghini and even Spyker owners throughout the USA and let me say that 11 months in a shop is complete bull made up by people that could NEVER afford an exotic motorcar in the first place. And its pronounced 'Lambo' not 'Lamb.' Lamb is a type of meat. Oh, and yes I do agree with you about spending a mil$ on a motorcar; its insane. I personally would NEVER spend 100k on a chevrolet; id choose a pre-owned Lambo at that price. ; )

Um, yeah they are. And a price of $1 mil for a car is quite rediculous, however there is a reason that cars can cost triple the price of this 'Chevy'; QUALITY and exclusivity. This offers neither of those.

There is probably not one hick with a zr1, sorry to burst your bubble. I understand that the Mercedes is a terrific, awesome car, but it is not at all worth that much money. The corvette is a very, very nice car, whether you admit it or not, and it gives you a shit more bang for your buck. Fuck off, vette's are for the people that want a fast car for not too much, hicks want fucking tractors and old pick-up's. Get your facts straight.

Ok. The majority of corvette's interior components are sourced from other cheap GM vehicles, cars like the cobalt and the HHR. If you havent noticed, GM markets the whole 'hand built engine' thing because that is the only none 'half baked' part of the entire vehicle. The car can perform impressivly, no arguement. but like the Hyndai Genesis, this 'chevy' is missing a key element of what makes a regular car a great car.

It is a supercar. If I'm not correct then correct me but doesnt it go almost 200 mph? Have a 6.2 liter engine? Putting out 6 hundred something hp? less at the wheels but its a beast. You hardly mentioned any facts...talking about the interior is pointless. Hmmm if I can recall a dodge viper acr holds the record at the nurburing and its interior doesnt look that nice at all

Yeah u are right but performance is not the only thing that makes up a supercar. And the interior is an example of the kind of quality and thought that went into this car.
The Corvette has been known to be flashy fun little sports car since its creation. And all of a sudden GM puts in some ceramic breaks and a beffier engine and its a supercar? They arent born over night. I mean, whens the last time someone said "Oh man check out that corvette!"

Good point. I rarely say "hey check out that vette." But I know if I saw a zr1 I would be like "check that out." I get what your saying though and I agree a lot more effort could have went into the interior quality, but these days it seems like the only quality going into fast american cars is "under the hood."

Honestly, I think the SLR looks like trash. You can buy a nicer looking car than a vette for 1.1 mil but that is not one of them. I wonder how much a Benz CLK-GTR costs... Now that is a nice car.

That reminds me of some retarded top five 60's sports cars list that I saw in what appeared to be a European magazine. To start off, the Shelby AC cobra is by far the best looking and performing car of the decade and it is European and American. Those fags couldn't tolerate the fact that it had an American engine so they ranked the Jag XKE first instead. What a joke. The cobra was in second and the corvette stingray was in fricking fifth. Goes to show you how much those stuck up tools know.

You know it's funny to see why the "Big 3" are going down the shitter when they produce garbage like the ZR1 that just guzzles gas like no tomorrow. And boy is it funny that it takes an LS495964334 1544.6L V9000 to get the vette to do any sort of speed and all for 100k... For 1/10th of that you could get a 2.0L import car with a turbo and some nos to make the same power and go just as fast. I hope new emission laws put the "Shit 3" out of business.

the ferrari f40 the original supercar doesnt even have ac, or a radio! interior is totally irellevant when you are talking about super cars
but if you want a super car/luxury car yes the zr1 does fall short in the luxury category
